I actually remembered to take a few pictures of our tablescapes recently when we celebrated a birthday, then, a few days later, Easter. I found this cobalt cut glass vase at an estate sale recently. I thought I'd link up with Savvy Southern Style for Wow Us Wednesdays and Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday.

These are the Johnson Bros. Blue Willow dishes I've had forever, cobalt goblets from Macy's and an estate sale, white dishes from Smith and Hawken (years ago), green silverware from Cost Plus (only 99 cents each).
A friend made these napkins 10 years ago on her serger, for my parents 50th anniversary. I still use them all of the time.
Spring is finally here! The sun is shining, and the apple trees are all in bloom.
Some simple old favorites.
A simple Easter table. I let my 7 year old choose which dishes to use, then found what I had around the house to go with them. I was surprised she didn't pick the bright springy floral dishes, but this made it easier to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, and the new life of spring, instead of easter bunnies, colorful eggs, etc., which is sometimes what we have around the house this time of year.
These dishes are Noritake, and they say made in occupied Japan. I found a full set of 12 at an estate sale, and love the colors and "French" look.
I love looking at everyone's Wow us Wednesday posts, and have found a few more blogs to follow. I hope you're all having a great day.
